Since 1963, there has been a relationship between the lack of activity and increases in body fat for children in North America, as reported in the Physician and Sports Medicine.
There is now a wide body of evidence concerning the state of fitness, and what may be optimum routines for children to follow in order to enhance fitness and wellness. The task at hand is to promote fitness, make it appealing to kids at different age levels, and help children maintain an active lifestyle beyond their youth.
Fitness for Kids and Teens is aimed at both the athlete and non-athlete.
For the athlete, we provide a “birth to adulthood” program designed to produce winning performance, with focus on specific exercises that develop basic movement skills essential to sports. Our programs will provide guidance about training schedules to avoid burn out of young athletes, relationship with coaches, and enhancing emotional well-being through sports.
For the non-athlete, our programs offer a fun way to develop efficient motor skills, a sense of pride and accomplishment, and lifetime exercise habits which foster good health and enjoyment.
